Texas's Dream Con 2026 brought together tens of thousands of attendees at the George R. Brown Convention Center, celebrating a wide array of entertainment including gaming, anime, movies, music, and sports. Founded by the video creator collective RDCWorld, the convention aims to highlight "underrepresented voices in mainstream spaces" and has become a notable event for showcasing cosplay talent from across the Southern United States.
Photographers from Mineralblu were present to capture the elaborate costumes displayed on the convention floor. The event featured a diverse range of characters brought to life, from comic book figures like The Batman Who Laughs and Dr. Doom to anime and video game icons. Notable cosplays included characters from Dragon Ball, such as Captain Ginyu and Majin Bou, as well as Naruto's Killer Bee. Video game representations were also prominent, with impressive interpretations of a Warhammer 40K Space Marine and a Helldiver from Helldivers 2.
Misc. entertainment and animation characters also made appearances, including Frozone from The Incredibles, Marge Simpson, and figures from Five Nights at Freddy's like Sundrop and Moondrop. The convention also presented unique character interpretations, like Spawn wearing a lanyard, and a collective "Spider Family" costume.
