Smell Like a Werewolf With New Fragrance Set Inspired by 'Werwulf'

Focus Features has partnered with Heretic Parfum to release an official perfume set inspired by Robert Eggers' upcoming film, "Werwulf." The collection features three distinct fragrances designed to evoke the different stages of a werewolf's transformation.

The "Werwulf Discovery Set" includes "The Wode Hath Teth," described as the scent of the "feral woodland itself" with notes of cold bark, frozen soil, and smoke. "Werwulf" aims to capture the transformation with scents of skin, damp earth, root, resin, and wet fur. Finally, "Blodwode" represents the "memory of what the forest has witnessed," featuring notes of bleeding tree bark, leather, musk, and the "heat of flesh that was once human."

The limited edition discovery set is available for pre-order at $55 and is expected to ship starting November 6. Individual perfumes can also be purchased for $125 each.

This is not Heretic Parfum's first foray into movie collaborations. The fragrance house previously created "Nosferatu Eau de Macabre" for the film "Nosferatu" and a scent for "The Bride." Heretic Parfum also gained notoriety in 2020 for its collaboration with Gwyneth Paltrow on the "This Smells Like My Vagina" candle.
