Nintendo has officially announced a worldwide concert tour to commemorate the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. The event, titled The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Concert, is slated to begin in 2027.

The announcement came during The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct, following an orchestral opening and the reveal of the upcoming Zelda film. Legendary Nintendo composer Koji Kondo appeared to introduce the concert tour, which is confirmed to visit Japan, North America, Europe, and Australia. This marks the first officially licensed Zelda music tour in nearly a decade.

The tour will feature a variety of musical arrangements, from "nostalgic tunes to modern melodies," as teased by Kondo, to honor the series' four-decade legacy.

Regional schedules for the concert tour vary, with Japan receiving the most extensive lineup. The tour commences in Tokyo on January 23, 2027, and will subsequently travel to Fukuoka in February, Hokkaido in March, and both Kyoto and Kanagawa in April. The North American leg of the tour is scheduled to start in Chicago on February 22, 2027, though additional U.S. locations and dates have yet to be revealed. The European tour is set to begin in London on April 3, followed by the Australian tour kicking off on May 13.

Venues are expected to begin ticket sales later this month, which should provide more specific details on concert dates and locations. In anticipation of the anniversary celebrations, players can also look forward to the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake for the Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5 of this year.
