Amazon has launched a '3 for 2' sale on books, offering a deal for Batman fans. The promotion allows customers to select three books and receive the least expensive one for free at checkout. This offer can be applied multiple times for purchases of six or more books.
The sale includes the first three paperback volumes of Scott Snyder's Absolute Batman series. These can be acquired for $38.66 as part of the promotion. This collection features Scott Snyder's run on Batman, with the most recent release, Devil's Workshop, collecting issues #15-18, the Absolute Batman 2025 annual, and the Ark-M One Shot.
While the paperback editions of all three volumes are eligible for the '3 for 2' deal, only hardcover volumes 2 and 3 are included in the promotion. Volume 1 in hardcover is not part of the sale.
The Absolute Batman series presents a different take on the iconic character. In this iteration, Bruce Wayne is not a billionaire playboy but the son of a school teacher. Lacking financial resources, he focuses on developing extreme physical strength to complement his intellect in his fight against Gotham's criminal element. The series also reimagines the origins and motivations of other classic villains.
The DC All In publishing initiative, which includes Absolute Batman, also features altered versions of other DC heroes like Superman, Wonder Woman, and Flash. Information on the broader DC All In universe can be found in a separate guide.
For those interested in sampling the series, the first issue of Absolute Batman is available to read for free on DC's website, which also offers free issues of Absolute Superman and Absolute Wonder Woman.
