Amazon is offering Apple's latest AirPods Pro 3 noise-canceling wireless earbuds for $199.99, representing a $50 discount. This deal provides a 28% reduction from the usual price, bringing them to $199.99 shipped.

While not the lowest price ever seen for the AirPods Pro 3, which previously hit $179 during Amazon Prime Day, the current offer is still considered a significant saving for Apple's premium earbuds. The AirPods Pro 3 were released on September 19 and feature several under-the-hood improvements compared to their predecessors. Notable additions include built-in heart rate sensing, enhanced audio quality, improved noise cancellation, extended battery life, and a more durable IP57-rated shell.

These earbuds also support Apple's 'Live Translation' feature, an Apple Intelligence function that translates languages in real-time. This capability is not exclusive to the Pro 3 model and is also compatible with the 2nd generation AirPods Pro and AirPods 4.

For Android users, the AirPods Pro 3 offer strong audio quality, noise cancellation, and comfort. However, many of their advanced features, such as Live Translation, Siri integration, and heart rate monitoring, are incompatible with Android devices. The H2 chip also provides Apple-specific quality-of-life features not available on Android. Given these limitations and the availability of excellent Android-specific earbuds, alternative options are recommended. These include the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE, available for $79.99 (originally $150), particularly for Galaxy phone users, and the Bose Quietcomfort, priced at $129 (originally $180), suitable for most Android devices.
