Amazon Prime Day 2026 is offering a significant number of deals for Nintendo fans, with discounts available on both the original Switch and the newer Switch 2 console, as well as a variety of games, accessories, and digital credit. The four-day sale continues through June 26, providing ample opportunity to secure savings on popular hardware and software.
A standout offer for Switch 2 owners is the Samsung 256GB microSD Express Card, currently priced at $39.99. This represents a notable price reduction and a cost-effective way to expand storage for the console. For those looking to play Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, the original Switch version is available for $29.99, with a $10 upgrade path to the Switch 2 edition, making it one of the lowest prices for the game on either platform.
Another attractive deal is on Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which has been reduced to $44.99. For prospective Switch 2 buyers, the "Switch 2 Choose Your Own Game Bundle" remains a compelling option at $499. This bundle includes a digital game download and offers a chance to purchase the console before Nintendo's planned price increase in September. The bundled games—Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Pokémon Pokopia—all received scores of 8/10 or higher. Mario Kart World, which retails for $79.99, offers the most value among the choices.
Switch 2 Console and Game Discounts
The Switch 2 "Choose Your Own Game Bundle" is positioned as one of the best value console deals of Prime Day. The inclusion of a game and the impending price hike in September effectively provide around $80 in value. This bundle is also highlighted as an opportunity to purchase the system before its cost increases.
Physical game deals for the Switch 2 include The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom at $59.99, with the original Switch version available for $49.99. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is further discounted to $29.99, with the Switch 2 upgrade costing an additional $10. Other notable game sales include Mario Tennis Fever for $49.99, Resident Evil Requiem for $53.19, and Super Mario Odyssey for $39.88.
Storage and Digital Credit Savings
The Samsung P9 Micro SDXC Express Card for Switch 2 is on sale for $39.99, a welcome reduction given the increasing storage requirements of modern games. Titles like Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Split Fiction, and Cyberpunk 2077 demand significant space, making expanded storage a practical necessity for many Switch 2 owners.
Additionally, Nintendo eShop Gift Cards are available with a 10% discount. The $10 digital code is priced at $8.98, offering a cost-saving way to purchase digital games, DLC, and upcoming releases.
Other Prime Day Offers
Prime Day also features discounts on LEGO x Nintendo sets, including LEGO Super Mario offerings like the LEGO Piranha Plant and the Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi set. Amazon Resale is providing up to an additional 25% off used Switch 2 games, encompassing titles such as Mario Kart World and Cyberpunk 2077.
Preorders for upcoming Switch 2 games, including Star Fox and Switch Sports Resort, are also $10 off. This discount applies to physical copies, with payment deferred until shipping, offering flexibility compared to immediate digital purchases.
