Amazon's Prime Day event is offering significant discounts on a wide array of video games, including numerous titles for the Nintendo Switch 2. These deals, which run until June 26, feature savings of up to 60% on games from Nintendo and various third-party publishers.

Several prominent first-party Switch 2 games have seen price reductions. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is available for $45, down from its original $70 price. Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Kirby Air Riders are both discounted to $45 and $50 respectively, each originally priced at $70. Mario Tennis Fever also joins the sale at $50, a reduction from $70. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Edition is available for $60, reduced from $80.

Additionally, preorders for upcoming Switch 2 titles like Star Fox (releasing June 25) and Splatoon Raiders (releasing July 23) are discounted to $50, offering a $10 saving compared to their standard $60 launch price. These discounts apply to physical preorders, matching the price of their digital counterparts.

Third-party titles are also part of the sale. Resident Evil Requiem, for example, is priced at $53.19, down from $70. It is important to note that this title, like many third-party games in the sale, is a Game Key-Card release. This means the game data is not included on the card, requiring an internet connection and at least 30GB of storage space for installation.

RPG fans can find deals such as Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for $30, a drop from $40, which requires 90GB of storage. This sale presents an opportunity to acquire the first installment of the trilogy on Switch 2, especially with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth having recently launched on the platform and Final Fantasy VII Revelation confirmed for Spring 2027. Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is also discounted to $40 from $60, and requires 17GB of space. This package features remakes of two classic NES RPGs with updated visuals, modern gameplay enhancements, and additional story content.

For those still on the original Nintendo Switch, a selection of digital titles are also on sale. These include The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, both available for $39.88, reduced from $60. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom digital edition is priced at $59.88, down from $80, while Mario vs. Donkey Kong is available for $29.83, a decrease from $50.

Code-in-Box releases are also available, such as the Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and Sparks of Hope Double Pack for $10 (was $29) and Just Dance 2026 Limited Edition for $20 (was $50). These releases do not contain a physical game card. The Mario + Rabbids pack includes both full games in the series, and the Just Dance 2026 edition comes with the base game, 40 bonus songs, and in-game cosmetic items.
