One month after its June 2, 2026 release, the Anker SOLIX S2000 portable power station is available for 50% off on Amazon, bringing its price down to $599.99. This represents a $600 saving on the unit, which originally launched at $1,199.
The SOLIX S2000 features 2,048Wh of battery capacity and a 2,400W output. Anker highlights its compact and lightweight design, measuring 8.2" by 11.1" by 12.7" and weighing 36 pounds, making it 35% smaller and 6 pounds lighter than the older SOLIX C2000 model. This capacity is sufficient for extended off-grid use or as a home backup power source.
Connectivity options include five 1,500W (3,000W peak) 120V AC outlets, one 100W USB-C port, one 15W USB-C port, and one 12W USB-A port. The power station also supports remote monitoring and control through a mobile application.
Anker emphasizes the S2000's energy efficiency, citing up to 96% inverter efficiency and a low phantom power draw of under 6W. It also functions as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with a switchover speed of under 10ms, ensuring connected devices like gaming PCs or medical equipment continue operating without interruption during power outages. This performance is notably faster than the 20-30ms switchover times common in other power stations marketed for UPS functionality.
The unit is equipped with the latest generation 314Ah LiFePO4 battery cells, designed for a 15-year lifespan and up to 10,000 charge cycles. This longevity and safer chemistry are presented as advantages over standard LiFePO4 cells, which typically offer a 10-year lifespan and 3,000 to 6,000 charge cycles.
Compared to the SOLIX C2000, the S2000 offers a smaller footprint, lighter weight, and greater energy efficiency, but has a lower continuous power rating (1,500W versus 2,400W) and lacks a shore power outlet for RVs. Anker suggests the S2000 is a more suitable option for users whose needs do not involve powering high-demand tools or RVs, particularly at its current reduced price point.
