Best Buy is currently offering refurbished Asus ROG Xbox Ally X handheld gaming PCs at a reduced price, with savings of up to $161. These Geek Squad-verified preowned units can be purchased for as low as $838.99, down from the usual $1,000 MSRP.
The Asus ROG Xbox Ally X is positioned as a powerful Windows-based handheld gaming device. It features an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 1TB SSD, configurations that enable it to run recent AAA titles. The device incorporates an Xbox interface, designed for user-friendliness, and includes Microsoft's new Xbox Full Screen Experience, which allows it to boot directly into the Xbox app.
Refurbished units are available in various conditions, with "excellent condition" models described as being in like-new functional and cosmetic states with minimal usage time. These purchases include a 15-day return policy. For buyers seeking the most capable Windows handheld gaming experience, these discounted options represent a notable reduction from the premium pricing of comparable devices like the Lenovo Legion Go 2 and MSI Claw A8, both of which retail at $1,100.
