A Powerful and Portable Gaming Platform
The ROG Zephyrus G16 is designed for both power and portability, measuring just 0.59 inches thin and weighing only 4.3 pounds. Its construction features an aluminum shell and a large glass touchpad. The laptop boasts a 16-inch 2.5K ROG Nebula OLED display with a 0.2ms response time, a 240Hz refresh rate, and G-Sync compatibility, powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H CPU and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 mobile GPU. It is configured with 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 2TB SSD.
The RTX 5090 mobile GPU, while operating at a reduced 120W TGP to manage heat, is capable of delivering smooth gameplay at 60fps or higher on the 2.5K display, even with maximum graphics settings. The inclusion of DLSS 4.5 support can further enhance frame rates, particularly in games that utilize ray tracing.
With 24GB of VRAM, the RTX 5090 in this laptop matches the VRAM capacity of the desktop RTX 4090, making it a robust option for demanding gaming and potentially for AI-intensive tasks in a mobile form factor.
