Newegg, operating through its official AliExpress storefront, has discounted the ASUS ZenScreen 15.6-inch 1080p portable USB monitor to $101.35. This price includes free shipping and is achieved after applying the coupon code "IFPT04BD" for $16 off.
The ASUS ZenScreen MB169CK is designed for portability, weighing 1.7 pounds and measuring less than half an inch thick. It features a metal frame and a kickstand that supports both portrait and landscape orientations. The 15.6-inch IPS panel offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, 178-degree viewing angles, and an anti-glare matte finish.
Connectivity is handled by two USB Type-C ports and one mini HDMI port. If a connected device supports USB Power Delivery, a single USB-C cable can provide both video signal and power. Otherwise, a separate USB-C cable will be needed for power alongside the mini HDMI or USB-C video connection.
This portable monitor can serve as an expanded display for laptops or as a secondary screen for handheld gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch or Steam Deck. When paired with these devices, a two-cable setup is recommended, with one USB cable connecting to the handheld and another to a power source. The 1080p 60Hz display is particularly well-suited for the Nintendo Switch, which outputs up to 720p at 60Hz. For devices capable of higher resolutions, the 1080p 60Hz output offers a balanced visual experience without overly taxing the system's performance.
