Amazon has launched a new Audible promotion, offering four months of Audible Standard for $0.99 per month. This deal is available to Amazon Prime members and runs until October 7th, coinciding with the start of Amazon's October Prime Day Sale.
Following the initial four-month promotional period, the subscription will automatically renew at the standard rate of $8.99 per month. Subscribers have the flexibility to cancel the auto-renewal at any time.
Audible offers two subscription tiers: Standard and Premium Plus. The Standard subscription costs $8.95 per month, significantly less than the Premium Plus tier at $14.95 per month. Both tiers grant access to Audible's catalog of over one million audiobooks. The key difference lies in the included credits. The Standard subscription provides one free audiobook per month, which members can keep as long as their membership remains active. In contrast, the Premium Plus tier offers one audiobook credit per month that can be kept indefinitely.
For users who do not require indefinite ownership of monthly audiobooks, the Standard subscription presents a more cost-effective option, saving $72 annually on subscription fees before considering the current promotional discount.

All books in this series are currently accessible with an Audible membership. Additionally, the romantasy novels from Rebecca Yarros' "The Empyrean Series" have consistently ranked on best-seller lists and are available in audiobook format.
