This promotion aims to offset some of the cost for players looking to upgrade their hardware or purchase a new console specifically for Grand Theft Auto VI. The deal applies to a variety of new and refurbished PS5 and Xbox Series X|S models, though stock for certain consoles is limited.
To qualify for the $50 Best Buy store credit, customers must be active My Best Buy members prior to their purchase. The membership program includes a free basic tier, along with paid Plus and Total tiers. The bundled console and Grand Theft Auto VI must be added to the same order. The $50 gift certificate is expected to be credited to eligible accounts by November 25. Eligible consoles include refurbished PS5 models starting at $500 for a launch disc version, and the Xbox Series S 1TB refurbished for $300.
Grand Theft Auto VI will be available in physical editions for PS5 and Xbox, but notably, no version includes a disc; instead, boxed copies contain a download code.
