Bose is currently offering certified refurbished units of its QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones for $199.20, a significant reduction from their original $450 retail price. This deal, available through Bose's official eBay store, includes free shipping and a 20% discount when using the code "BRANDS20". These units also come with an extended two-year Allstate warranty.
It is important to note that this sale applies to the first generation of the QuietComfort Ultra headphones. A second generation model was released in October 2025, but it is not part of this promotion. Bose states that its certified refurbished products undergo thorough inspection and servicing to meet the brand's sound quality standards, similar to new items. While some units may have minor cosmetic blemishes, they are guaranteed to function as expected and carry the same warranty as new products.
The QuietComfort Ultra is Bose's premium noise-canceling headphone, offering notable improvements over standard models in both audio fidelity and noise cancellation. It is considered a competitor to other high-end options like the Sony WH-1000XM6 and Apple's AirPods Max. Enhancements in this model include support for spatial audio for a more immersive listening experience and improved passive noise isolation due to redesigned earcups that provide a more secure seal. The headphones feature Bluetooth 5.3 and are compatible with SnapDragon Sound, which optimizes audio quality, connection stability, and latency for Android users.
Additional features of the QuietComfort Ultra include an 'Aware' mode that allows users to hear ambient sounds without removing the headphones, a dual-hinge design for easy portability by folding flat, up to 24 hours of battery life on a single charge, a USB Type-C charging port, and Bluetooth multipoint connectivity for pairing with two devices simultaneously.
