The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones, the company's premium audio offering, have seen a substantial price reduction, dropping below the $200 mark. This deal is available through Bose's official eBay store, which is offering certified refurbished units with an extended two-year Allstate warranty for $188, including free shipping.
These first-generation QuietComfort Ultra headphones normally retail for $450. The sale represents a 56% discount. Bose Certified Refurbished products undergo a thorough inspection, testing, and servicing process to ensure they meet Bose's stringent sound quality standards, comparable to new products. While minor cosmetic blemishes may occasionally be present, these units carry the same warranty as new items.
The QuietComfort Ultra represents Bose's highest-end noise-cancelling headphone model and offers a notable upgrade over standard QuietComfort models. Improvements include enhanced audio and noise-cancelling performance, positioning them as competitors to other premium options like the Sony WH-1000XM6 and Apple's AirPods Max. The headphones feature spatial audio for a more immersive listening experience and improved passive noise isolation due to redesigned earcups that provide a more secure seal. They are equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 and support Snapdragon Sound, which optimizes audio quality, connection stability, and latency for streaming on Android devices.
Additional features include an "Aware" mode that amplifies ambient sounds for situational awareness without removing the headphones. The dual-hinge design allows the headphones to fold flat for portability, and they offer up to 24 hours of battery life on a single charge. The model includes a USB Type-C port and supports Bluetooth multipoint for simultaneous connection to two devices.
