Lego has expanded its Sonic the Hedgehog line with CrossWorlds racing sets, giving Sonic Racing fans a chance to pit Sonic against Knuckles and Silver on buildable tracks. The CrossWorlds launch arrives exactly one year after Lego Super Mario expanded beyond platforming playsets with buildable karts, and it leans into budget-friendly options that can appeal to younger builders and collectors alike. The launch lineup includes Sonic's Speedster Lightning Car and a two-pack featuring Silver's Car versus Knuckles' Monster Truck, with accessory elements that echo the series' energetic vibe.

Two of the first entries are the Speedster Lightning Race Car (126 pieces) priced at $10, and the Silver's Car vs. Knuckles' Monster Truck (378 pieces) priced at $40. The Speedster Lightning model comes with a Lego Sonic minifigure, and the front hood hides a Chaos Emerald for a quick reveal during play. Three Gold Rings with suction cups are included to attach to flat surfaces for added stunt moments. The Silver vs. Knuckles two-pack includes Knuckles the Echidna and Silver minifigures, their respective vehicles, and a toolbox on wheels plus a starting light. The toolbox has two Chaos Emeralds on top and pretend tools for the minifigures to hold when working on their vehicles. Notably, this marks Silver's first appearance in the Lego Sonic collection, expanding the roster beyond the original platforming minifigs. The larger monster truck driven by Knuckles features a red and black color scheme with flame accents.

Pricing and availability continue with larger builds and cross-promotional options. The 590-piece Super Sonic vs. Egg Drillster is on sale for $48 at the Lego Store and $64 at Amazon, and Lego notes it as retiring soon, marking it as a high-demand but limited-run item. The 126-piece Speedster Lightning Race Car is $10, and the 378-piece Silver's Car vs. Knuckles' Monster Truck is $40. An Amazon-exclusive edition of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, which includes a bonus double-sided poster, is on sale for $45 at Amazon for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.

In addition to the core CrossWorlds sets, a broader slate of Sonic Lego deals includes Cyclone vs. Metal Sonic (290 pieces) at about $25.17 (was $30), Knuckles vs. Dr. Eggman Egg Crusher Mech (350 pieces) at $40.49 (was $45), and Super Shadow vs. Biolizard (419 pieces) at $39 (was $45). The Team Sonic Command Truck (747 pieces) is listed at $63 (was $70), Knuckles' Guardian Mech (276 pieces) at $35, Tails' Adventure Boat (393 pieces) at $40 (was $55), Shadow's Escape (196 pieces) at $20, Sonic's Campfire Clash (177 pieces) at $20, and Knuckles and the Master Emerald Shrine (325 pieces) at $35. Some items show as sold out or retired in Lego's catalog, and Shadow the Hedgehog Model (720 pieces) at $59.49 and Sonic the Hedgehog: Green Hill Zone Model (1,125 pieces) at $85 are listed with notes about availability. The Lego Ideas: Sonic the Hedgehog Green Hill Zone remains available from third-party sellers near retail, even though Lego has retired the set.

A handful of Sonic Lego sets are retiring soon, including the priciest build in the lineup. In particular, the 590-piece Super Sonic vs. Egg Drillster is among the notable retirements; buyers should act quickly if they want to secure it at Lego Store or Amazon, given the retirement status. Amazon also has deals on Sonic sets that aren't retiring soon, such as Knuckles vs. Dr. Eggman Egg Crusher Mech for $40.49 (was $45) and Super Shadow vs. Biolizard for $39 (was $45).
