Corsair has reduced the price of its GALLEON 100 SD keyboard by $50, making it available for $299.99 directly from the Corsair online store. This limited-time offer coincides with the back-to-school season. Additionally, customers purchasing the GALLEON 100 SD in September will receive a $20 promotional code for future purchases of eligible Corsair Gaming Gear in the U.S. Corsair Storefront, valid until September 30, 2027.
The GALLEON 100 SD is designed with both gamers and streamers in mind. Its standout feature is the integrated Elgato Stream Deck, which includes twelve customizable LCD keys, a 5-inch IPS color display, and two multi-function rotary knobs. This allows for programmable shortcuts to control games, switch applications like Discord or Spotify, manage streaming tools, and adjust system functions. Corsair has also provided pre-configured profiles for popular games such as Helldivers, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Cyberpunk 2077, ARC Raiders, and Resident Evil.
Beyond its streaming capabilities, the GALLEON 100 SD is a full-sized keyboard constructed with a durable aluminum frame. It features 8,000Hz hyper-polling to minimize input lag and hot-swappable Corsair MLX Pulse linear mechanical switches. To enhance audio clarity during streams, the keyboard incorporates six layers of sound-dampening foam. It also offers full key rollover with 100% anti-ghosting, per-key RGB LED lighting, and a magnetically attached cushioned wrist rest.
Reviewers have noted the keyboard's unique position in the market, particularly for streamers and users who heavily utilize macros to improve their workflow. While acknowledging that more economical options exist for general users, the GALLEON 100 SD is presented as a top-tier choice for its intended audience.
