The DJI Osmo Action 6 8K video camera, DJI's most recent action camera offering, is available for $308.23 through the AliExpress Back to School Sale. This price reflects a substantial discount from its typical $439 retail price found at retailers like Amazon. The deal requires applying a $40 off coupon code, "USSR40," at the FlyingFlightStore on AliExpress, which is an authorized DJI reseller according to the company. The camera ships from the United States, eliminating potential import fees.
This model, released late last year, introduces several key upgrades over its predecessor. It features a new 1:1.1 square sensor capable of 1:1 format recording, and it can capture video in 8K resolution at up to 30 frames per second. Other enhancements include a variable aperture ranging from f/2.0 to f/4.0 and 50GB of built-in storage.
Like previous DJI action cameras, the Osmo Action 6 incorporates RockSteady image stabilization technology and is noted for its strong low-light performance. The battery is rated for up to four hours of 4K video recording, though actual usage will vary. The camera body is waterproof to a depth of 20 meters without an additional housing. It is equipped with dual OLED displays on the front and rear for easy shot composition and supports the connection of up to two DJI microphone transmitters for professional audio capture.
The Standard Combo package includes the camera, a 1,950mAh Extreme Plus battery, a quick-release adapter mount with a locking screw, and a USB 3.1 PD cable.
