DJI's Osmo Action 6 8K camera, the company's most recent action camera model, has received its first notable price drop, falling below the $300 mark. The Standard Combo is currently available for $289.94 on AliExpress through the FlyingFlightStore, including free shipping after applying the coupon code "DEALUS35". This represents a substantial saving, as the camera typically retails for $439 at other major retailers like Amazon.
The Osmo Action 6, released late last year, boasts several key upgrades over its predecessor. It features a new 1:1.1 square sensor capable of recording in 8K resolution at up to 30 frames per second, or 4K at 120fps. Other enhancements include a variable aperture ranging from f/2.0 to f/4.0 and 50GB of built-in storage. The camera retains DJI's RockSteady image stabilization technology and is noted for its strong low-light performance. Battery life can extend up to four hours when recording 4K video, though real-world usage may vary. The body is waterproof to a depth of 20 meters without an additional case, and dual OLED displays on the front and rear aid in shot composition. The device also supports the connection of up to two DJI microphone transmitters for professional audio capture.
The Standard Combo package includes the camera itself, a 1,950mAh Extreme Plus battery, a quick-release adapter mount with a locking screw, and a USB 3.1 PD charging cable. The seller, FlyingFlightStore, has been confirmed by AliExpress as an authorized DJI reseller, and shipments originate from the United States, avoiding potential import fees.
