For players seeking a break from demanding games, Fanatical has launched a "Build Your Own Wholesome Collection" bundle. This offering provides a selection of 20 titles focused on calming and comforting experiences, catering to those who enjoy games like Stardew Valley or Unpacking.
The bundle starts with players able to select three games for $10 / £10. Additional titles can be added with escalating discounts; purchasing seven games, for example, brings the per-title cost down to approximately $2.85 / £2.85. This pricing structure makes individual games available for less than their typical retail cost.
Among the available games is Ship Inc., described as a reverse of Unpacking. In this title, players act as a package expert, responsible for sorting, packaging, and shipping various boxes to their correct destinations. The game involves strategic elements in selecting appropriate containers and ensuring correct product placement, offering a sense of progression as players upgrade their virtual office and optimize their packing operations.
Another option in the bundle is Vending Machine Co., which blends management simulation with job simulation. Players manage a vending machine business in a city, adapting stock and pricing to the varying demands of different urban districts. The game allows for machine upgrades and offers in-game assistance for pricing strategies to help improve profitability.
Toy Shire offers a different experience, presented as a real-time strategy game with a theme reminiscent of Toy Story. It pits old toys against new ones, tasking players with commanding toy soldiers in a tower-defense style to overcome various adversaries, including dinosaurs and robots.
