The Fractal Design Scape wireless gaming headset is available at a discounted price of $170 on Amazon, ahead of the Prime Day sales event. The headset is noted for its magnetic wireless charging stand, which offers a convenient way to keep the device powered and ready for use.
Beyond its charging convenience, the Scape is praised for its comfort and design, featuring subtle RGB lighting between the earcups and frame. The headset utilizes 40mm neodymium drivers, and while its default EQ is neutral, it can be adjusted via software to enhance sound profiles, particularly bass. The midrange is described as well-defined, with clear treble.
A noted drawback is the microphone's average audio quality, though it offers flip-to-mute functionality and can be removed, which is beneficial for using the secondary Bluetooth connection. The absence of active noise cancellation at this price point is also mentioned as a slight omission.
Despite these points, the reviewer considers the Scape a valuable addition to their desk setup, recommending it even at its standard price and especially at the current discounted rate. The headset is also available for purchase through a link to Amazon's gaming headset deals.
