For a limited time, Walmart is selling the Gigabyte A16 Pro 16-inch gaming laptop for $1,449 with free shipping. This deal is part of a limited-time promotion and revives a popular offer from last month's GeForce Week Event. The A16 Pro comes equipped with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD, negating the immediate need for costly upgrades.
The Gigabyte A16 Pro laptop measures 0.77 inches at its thinnest point and weighs 5 pounds, a relatively light profile for a 16-inch gaming machine. It features a 16-inch 2560x1600 165Hz IPS display, an Intel Core 7 240H CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 12GB GPU with a 115W TGP, 32GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The Intel Core 7 240H is a 10-core processor capable of reaching a 5.2GHz turbo frequency, making it an efficient choice for gaming. The system's 32GB of RAM is not user-upgradeable, but the 1TB SSD can be replaced.
The RTX 5070 Ti mobile GPU offers performance approximately 20% to 30% better than the RTX 5070. Compared to Nvidia's previous generation RTX 4000 mobile GPUs, it performs similarly to the RTX 4080 and surpasses it in games that utilize DLSS 4.5 and multi-frame generation. Although the A16 Pro's 5070 Ti GPU is capped at a 115W TGP to manage heat, it remains powerful enough to run many demanding titles smoothly at the display's 1600p resolution, from popular esports titles like League of Legends and Fortnite to newer releases.
