The Harry Potter 11-Film 4K Blu-ray Collection has reached a new price low, coinciding with Labor Day sales and Back to Hogwarts celebrations. This collection, released in May of this year with an initial price of $129.99, is now available at a notable discount across multiple retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, and Gruv.
The set encompasses all eight Harry Potter films alongside the three Fantastic Beasts movies, totaling 11 films on 4K UHD discs. This marks the first significant price reduction for the collection since its release. While it does not feature the elaborate packaging of some previous limited editions, such as the sold-out steelbook library case, it offers a straightforward way to own the entire series in high definition.
The collection includes the films in their release order: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005), Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (2009), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 (2010), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 (2011), Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016), Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018), and Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022).
It is important to note that this 4K Blu-ray collection exclusively contains the movie discs and does not include any special features. Bonus content for the Harry Potter films in 4K is generally only available on the standard Blu-ray versions. For those seeking the highest possible picture quality, the 4K Blu-ray format offers a superior experience compared to streaming, even with premium subscriptions such as HBO Max.
