Best Buy is currently offering a substantial discount on the HP OMEN 35L gaming PC, reducing its price to $2,349.99 with free shipping. This limited-time offer represents a $750 instant discount, marking one of the best prices seen for a prebuilt system equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card.
The HP OMEN 35L is configured with an Intel Core i7-14700F processor, 32GB of DDR5-6000MHz RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The i7-14700F CPU features 20 cores and 28 threads, with a maximum turbo frequency of 5.4GHz, providing strong performance for both gaming and productivity tasks. Cooling is handled by a 240mm liquid cooler, and the system is powered by an 850W 80Plus Gold certified power supply.
The GeForce RTX 5080 GPU is a key component for high-end gaming, capable of running demanding titles at 4K resolution with high settings and ray tracing enabled. Its performance is closely followed by the RTX 5090 and the now-discontinued RTX 4090. Recent optimizations, such as DLSS 4.5 updates, further enhance frame rates through improved multi-frame generation and upscaling, beneficial for titles like Doom: The Dark Ages, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Battlefield 6, Death Stranding 2, and Crimson Desert that are incorporating these technologies.
