Amazon Prime members unlock a total of 23 free games this January, split between 10 downloadable PC titles and 13 cloud-streaming titles on Amazon Luna. The highlight is Madden NFL 26, EA's latest entry in the pro football series, which arrives on Luna for cloud streaming on January 10 — the same day as the NFL Playoffs kickoff, and the same day Prime will stream the Chicago Bears versus Green Bay Packers game, creating a notable media moment for Prime members.
PC freebies arriving throughout January include Sid Meier's Civilization VI and Reflections of Life: Dark Architect Collector's Edition on January 15 (Epic Games Store and Amazon Games App respectively). On January 22, players can grab Brigador: Up-Armored Edition, Gunslug: Rogue Tactics, DeathKeep, and Harold Halibut on GOG. January 29 adds Al-Qadim: The Genie's Curse, Technotopia, and Elderborn on GOG or Amazon Games App. The full list highlights how Prime Gaming bundles games from multiple storefronts, with releases staggered across the month.
Cloud titles on Amazon Luna for January include Alan Wake and Death Stranding Director's Cut, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 Turbocharged, Monster Truck Championship - Rebel Hunter Edition, Tormented Souls, Aragami: Shadow Edition, Spells & Secrets, Whisker Waters, and Trepang2 as available titles. In addition, January 8 brings Tricky Towers, January 10 adds Madden NFL 26, and January 23 unlocks The Jackbox Party Pack 3. Worms W.M.D is listed as TBD for January. The mix covers action, strategy, horror, party games, and quirky indie experiences.
Prime members should check the Prime Gaming page for the latest availability, as titles can shift within the month and some are region restricted. With Madden NFL 26 leading the Luna slate and a diverse PC lineup, January offers a broad catalog for players looking to expand their libraries without spending new funds.
