Amazon Prime Day is offering a significant discount on Kirby Air Riders for the Nintendo Switch 2, bringing the game's price down to $49.94 from its usual $69.99. This represents a 30% saving and is the lowest price observed for a new, physical copy of the title, surpassing the previous low of $59.99. The sale is also available at Walmart.
Kirby Air Riders presents a kart-racing experience that, while similar to Mario Kart World, features distinct mechanics and a roster including Kirby, Waddle Dee, King Dedede, and Meta Knight. Unlike Mario Kart World's focus on pure racing, Kirby Air Riders incorporates more battle-oriented gameplay. A notable addition is its single-player story mode, "Road Trip," which is absent in Mario Kart World. The game also includes a "City Trial" mode where players explore a large city, gathering power-ups and customizing their vehicles across 150 challenges. While Mario Kart World's "Free Roam" offers some similar exploration elements, it does not encompass all the features found in Kirby Air Riders' City Trial.
