Ahead of Black Friday, the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom edition is available for $55.99. This price is achieved by applying the coupon code "SAVETOBER" for a 20% discount during Woot's early Black Friday video game sale.
While a new Ocarina of Time-themed Switch 2 Pro controller has been announced for $100, the older model remains compatible with the newer Switch 2 console. The original Switch Pro controller shares the same build quality and form factor as its successor. However, the newer Switch 2 Pro controller includes additional features such as two rear paddle switches, a GameChat button, and a headphone jack. It also boasts upgraded "HD Rumble 2" and the ability to wake the Switch 2 console, capabilities not present in the original Switch Pro controller. For those who can forgo these upgrades, the discounted Zelda-edition controller offers a significant saving of $30 while still providing an officially licensed Zelda accessory.
