Amazon is currently offering substantial discounts on a variety of LEGO Disney sets, with some prices reaching all-time lows. These sales are occurring as LEGO begins to clear out excess inventory and sets marked for retirement.
The most significant reduction is a 55% discount on the Kakamora Barge set, originally released alongside "Moana 2." This 572-piece set, which is slated for retirement by LEGO, includes builds of Kakamora and Moana figures. Further deals related to "Moana" include the lowest-ever prices on smaller Kakamora and Heihei sets.
Fans of the "Frozen" franchise can find discounts on two versions of Elsa’s Ice Castle and an Olaf set. For adult builders, the LEGO Ideas Luxo Jr. set, representing the iconic Pixar lamp, has returned to its lowest price of $43. A review of this set noted its intricate design despite a smaller piece count and highlighted subtle references to classic Pixar films such as "Toy Story," "Finding Nemo," "Ratatouille," "The Incredibles," and "Up."
Sally’s Flowerpot from "The Nightmare Before Christmas" collection is also at an all-time low price, though the larger "Nightmare Before Christmas" build remains out of stock at most retailers, including the official LEGO Store.
While sales are frequent as the year ends, many of the discounted sets listed are already at their lowest historical prices. Generally, a 20% discount on a LEGO set is considered standard, while reductions exceeding 30% are exceptional. Consumers can utilize price-tracking tools like camelcamelcamel to verify the best available prices.
