Walmart's ongoing "Bricktember" sale event is offering a significant discount on the recently released LEGO Mario Kart Luigi & Mach 8 set. The 2,234-piece set, which debuted in April, is currently priced at $150, marking its lowest price to date. This represents a saving of $29.99 from its original retail price of $179.99.
To secure this discounted price, customers must add the set to their cart. The LEGO Mario Kart Luigi & Mach 8 set, identified by set number #72050, is recommended for ages 18 and up. When assembled, it stands over 10 inches high, 16 inches long, and 9 inches wide. The set features a posable Luigi figure driving the Mach 8 kart and includes a display stand that allows for dynamic posing.
While the Mario set was the first of its kind, the Luigi build utilizes a similar construction template. Reviews suggest that while the Luigi set offers strong visual appeal, the building experience may feel redundant for those who have already assembled the Mario counterpart. However, for individuals new to the LEGO Mario Kart series or specifically seeking the Luigi set, this redundancy would not impact the enjoyment.
This particular LEGO set is categorized as being geared towards adult builders, likely due to its intricate assembly process and higher piece count, positioning it as a display piece. Nevertheless, younger builders can engage with the set with assistance from an adult.
