The LEGO Icons Project Hail Mary set, a detailed replica of the spacecraft from the 2026 film, is now available at its lowest price to date during Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days event. The set, originally priced at $99.99, can be purchased for $69.99.
This 830-piece model offers a to-scale representation of the movie's spaceship, featuring exterior details with gray and gold accents. It includes a display stand and minifigures of Dr. Grace and Rocky. A notable feature is the functional crank mechanism designed to extend the centrifuge from the main ship, mimicking its operation in space without the need for batteries or electronics.
An in-depth build of the set revealed the intricate design and the engaging crank mechanism. The construction process took several hours, making it a suitable project for rewatching the film or for a day indoors. The brick-built Rocky figure is described as a simple yet expressive recreation of the character from the movie.
This is currently the only official LEGO Project Hail Mary set. Fans have previously been able to construct their own Rocky figures using pieces from retired LEGO sets.
Additionally, the Deluxe Edition of Andy Weir's Project Hail Mary novel is also on sale. Preorders for the edition, which features interior artwork and sprayed edges and is set for release on December 1, 2026, are available for $22, a 45% discount from its $40 retail price.
