A significant discount is available on the LEGO Technic Peugeot 9X8 24H Le Mans Hybrid Hypercar (set 42156) during the October Prime Day sale. The set, which normally retails for $199.99, can be purchased for $139.99, representing a 30% price reduction and including free shipping. This offer marks the lowest price observed for this particular LEGO Technic model.
The LEGO Technic Peugeot 9X8 is a 1:10 scale replica of the Peugeot 9X8 24H hybrid electric hypercar, released in 2023. The model measures 19.5 inches long, 9 inches wide, and 5 inches high, aligning with the scale of other LEGO Technic 18+ vehicle sets. Its features include a representation of the car's hybrid system, comprising a V6 piston engine paired with an electric motor and battery, alongside a functional drivetrain, working suspension, and connected steering. The set also incorporates glow-in-the-dark lighting elements to replicate the LED "headlights" found on the actual vehicle, in addition to stickers for the livery.
Designed for builders aged 18 and over, the set contains 1,775 pieces. Discounts on flagship Technic vehicle sets are infrequent and typically limited in availability, often occurring only during major promotional events. The Peugeot 9X8 set is considered a notable addition for collectors of LEGO Technic exotic cars.
