LG's popular 2026 Evo C6 4K OLED TVs are now available at some of their lowest prices of the year, with major retailers like Amazon and Best Buy offering substantial discounts well before the Black Friday shopping season.
The 55-inch LG Evo C6 4K OLED TV is currently priced at $999.99, including free shipping. This marks a rare occasion for the television to fall below the $1,000 threshold throughout the year. Amazon is also extending discounts to larger models, with the 65-inch and 77-inch variants available at prices close to their annual lows. For those using an Amazon Prime Card, an additional 10% cashback is offered on the larger 65-inch and 77-inch models, in lieu of the standard 5%.
Key Features and Gaming Performance
The LG C6 represents LG's latest iteration in its C-series OLED lineup for 2026. This model introduces an upgraded 165Hz maximum refresh rate, an improvement over the previous C5's 144Hz, and incorporates the new Alpha 11 Gen 3 processor, which enhances AI processing capabilities. These advancements solidify the C6's position as a top-tier choice for gaming and home entertainment.
LG's C-series OLED TVs have consistently been recommended for console gaming, particularly for systems like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Their appeal stems from exceptional image quality, minimal input lag, and high refresh rates. The C6 is equipped with a native 120Hz panel capable of reaching 165Hz, HDMI 2.1 ports, adaptive sync with variable refresh rate (VRR), and an auto low latency mode (ALLM), all of which are crucial for a smooth and responsive gaming experience.
Beyond gaming, the C6 excels at displaying 4K HDR content. OLED technology provides unparalleled image quality through near-infinite black levels, contrast ratios, and instantaneous response times. The inclusion of LG's proprietary Evo panel further enhances brightness and expands the color gamut compared to traditional W-OLED displays. This makes the LG C6 a compelling option for both gamers and cinephiles seeking premium visual performance.
