Walmart, through Newegg, is offering a notable discount on the Andromeda Insights RTX 5080 Prebuilt Gaming PC, bringing its price down to $2,349 with free shipping. This system combines a recent generation Intel processor with a high-end NVIDIA graphics card.
The Andromeda Insights PC is equipped with a 360mm liquid-cooled Intel Core Ultra 5 250KF Plus CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU with 12GB of VRAM, 32GB of DDR5-6000MHz RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 5 250KF, a refresh of Arrow Lake released earlier this year, features 18 cores and can reach a maximum turbo frequency of 5.3GHz, offering strong gaming performance.
The GeForce RTX 5080 is positioned as one of the fastest graphics cards available, surpassed only by the RTX 5090 and the now-discontinued RTX 4090. This GPU is well-suited for playing demanding titles at 4K resolution with high settings and ray tracing enabled. Recent updates to technologies like DLSS 4.5 are further enhancing performance with improved frame generation and upscaling, benefiting games such as Doom: The Dark Ages, Battlefield 6, and Crimson Desert.
