Amazon's Prime Day sale has brought the Logitech MX Master 3S mouse down to £64, a notable reduction for a peripheral praised for its comfort and functionality. This offer applies to the Bluetooth-only variant of the mouse.
The MX Master 3S maintains the ergonomic design of its predecessors, featuring a comfortable shell with a rubberized coating. Its main scroll wheel provides both precise, tactile feedback in a notched mode and smooth, free-scrolling for navigating long documents. The main mouse buttons have been dampened for quieter clicks compared to the older MX Master 3, while retaining a solid tactile feel.
In addition to the primary scroll wheel, the mouse includes a horizontal thumb wheel for tasks like scrolling through spreadsheets or timelines. A gesture button and forward/back buttons are also positioned within easy reach of the thumb. All these buttons can be remapped using the Logi Options+ software to customize the user's workflow.
The sensor has been upgraded to an 8000 DPI sensitivity, which is more than adequate for office tasks and general use. The Darkfield tracking technology allows the mouse to function reliably on a variety of surfaces, including glass. However, its weight and 125Hz Bluetooth polling rate make it less suitable for fast-paced gaming.
Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth, with support for up to three devices and Logitech's Flow feature, which enables seamless cursor movement and file transfer between computers. This specific version does not include the Logi Bolt receiver. The mouse offers an impressive battery life of up to 70 days on a single charge. When the battery does deplete, a quick charge via the USB-C port can provide hours of use with just one minute of charging.
The Logitech MX Master 3S is highlighted as an excellent choice for multi-taskers and power users seeking a high-spec office mouse, particularly with the current Prime Day discount.
