Best Buy is offering a significant early Black Friday deal on a large-screen television, making a 70-inch Insignia F50 4K Fire TV available for $299.99 with free shipping. This offer, available for a limited time, is from Best Buy directly and includes a one-year warranty.
This television features a 70-inch display with 4K resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate, supporting HDR10 and HLG. It also comes with Fire TV built-in, providing access to streaming services.
While it lacks a native 120Hz refresh rate, the TV is considered a solid option for current-generation gaming consoles like the PlayStation 5, as most games do not exceed 60 frames per second. For the Nintendo Switch, which supports up to 4K at 60Hz in docked mode, this TV is also a suitable choice. The large screen size is highlighted as a key benefit for immersive gaming experiences, potentially offering more impact than a higher refresh rate on smaller displays. The cost savings compared to higher-end TVs could also allow consumers to allocate more of their budget towards purchasing video games or additional consoles.
