Walmart has significantly reduced the price of a large-format television, making a 75-inch TCL S5 Series 4K Google TV available for just $398 with free shipping. This deal, sold and shipped directly by Walmart, includes a one-year TCL warranty.
The TCL S5 is a native 4K 60Hz display enhanced with Motion Rate 240. It supports HDR PRO+, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG, and features an integrated Google TV smart interface. While it lacks a native 120Hz refresh rate, it is still considered a capable option for gaming, particularly for current-generation consoles like the PlayStation 5. The reality for most PS5 games is a 60fps cap, even in performance modes, and future consoles like the Switch 2 are expected to max out at 60Hz at 4K docked. For budget-conscious consumers, the savings on this TCL TV could fund the purchase of numerous video games or even an additional console, potentially offering more value than a higher-end display.
This deal is part of ongoing efforts by commerce teams to identify significant discounts on technology and gaming products.
