For a limited time, consumers can purchase the 77-inch Panasonic Z8BA 4K OLED Smart TV with Amazon Fire TV built-in for $1,199.99, including free shipping. This deal is available through Buydig via eBay and requires applying the coupon code "BRANDS20" at checkout for a 20% discount. This represents a significant price reduction for a large-format OLED television.
The Panasonic Z8BA, a 2025 model, features an updated Master OLED PRO panel. This panel, sourced from LG, is paired with Panasonic's proprietary processing. According to Rtings, its picture quality is comparable to the more expensive LG Evo C5, with the primary difference being slightly lower peak brightness. As a true OLED display, the Z8BA offers near-instantaneous response times, an exceptional contrast ratio, and the ability to display perfect blacks, surpassing other display technologies like LED and Mini-LED in many viewing scenarios.
With its native 144Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1 ports, the Z8BA is well-suited for modern gaming consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, which can output games at 4K resolution with frame rates of 120fps or higher. The TV also includes gaming-centric features like variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency mode (ALLM), which contribute to smoother gameplay.
The integrated Amazon Fire TV interface provides a familiar smart TV experience for users accustomed to the Amazon ecosystem or Fire TV devices. The operating system is identical to what is found on Amazon's Fire TV streaming sticks.
Buydig, the seller offering this deal, is an authorized Panasonic reseller with a strong reputation on eBay, boasting over 600,000 positive feedback ratings. This particular offer is noted as the lowest price observed for a 77-inch OLED TV to date.
