Best Buy is currently offering a substantial discount on the 83-inch LG Evo M3 4K OLED Smart TV, bringing its price down to $2,399.99. This represents a significant saving of $3,100 from its initial MSRP of $5,500, which was set upon its release in August 2023. This deal marks the lowest price ever recorded for LG's largest and most advanced OLED television from 2023.
LG's M-series televisions represent a specialized tier within the company's OLED lineup, sharing the advanced panel technology found in the flagship G-series but distinguished by integrated wireless connectivity. The M3 boasts the same Micro Lens Array (MLA) equipped panel as the G3, which enhances brightness levels considerably. While not featuring the newer Tandem OLED technology found in the latest G5 models, the M3's panel offers superior performance compared to current-generation televisions like the LG Evo C5, which lacks MLA technology. The 83-inch G5 model, for comparison, currently retails at $5,000.
Wireless Connectivity for a Cleaner Setup
The defining feature of the M3 is its "Zero Connect" box, which handles all external connections wirelessly. This box can be positioned up to 30 feet away from the TV, allowing for a significantly cleaner aesthetic by reducing the number of cables routed to the display, with only a power cable remaining necessary. The M3 supports 4K streaming at up to 120Hz through this wireless connection.
Gaming and Entertainment Features
LG OLED TVs have consistently been praised for their suitability for console gaming due to their exceptional image quality, low input lag, and high refresh rates. The M3 is no exception, making it an excellent choice for experiencing 4K HDR content. It is equipped with modern gaming features ideal for current-generation consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, including a native 120Hz panel and three HDMI 2.1 ports located on the Zero Connect Box.
Warranty and Mounting Options
As a premium LG television, the M3 includes a 5-year panel warranty. However, like LG's Gallery Series, the M3 does not come with a standard desktop stand. Instead, it includes a slim wall mount designed for a flush wall installation. For users seeking more flexibility in positioning or a simpler installation process, third-party wall mounts are available. One such option, the Perlegear Full Motion TV Wall Mount, which supports TVs up to 97 inches and 132 pounds, is available on Amazon for $34.99 with the coupon code "HP7VZ5G5".
Deals on LG's M-series OLED TVs are infrequent, making this opportunity to acquire the 83-inch Evo M3 at a record-low price particularly noteworthy for those interested in its advanced wireless capabilities.
