A substantial discount of $3,000 is available on LG's 83-inch Evo M3 4K OLED Smart TV, bringing its price down to $2,499. This offer, found at Electronic Express via eBay, requires the use of the coupon code "LABORDAY20" and includes free shipping. This represents a significant reduction from its original MSRP of $5,500, which was set at its release in August 2023.
The LG M-series is positioned as a specialized tier within LG's OLED lineup, sharing the same panel technology as the high-end G-series. The key distinguishing feature of the M3 is its wireless connectivity, which allows for a cleaner setup by consolidating most connections to a "Zero Connect" box that can be placed up to 30 feet away from the television. The television still requires a power cable.
This premium OLED panel utilizes Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology, which enhances brightness levels. The M3's panel is considered superior to that found in recent LG Evo C5 models, which do not feature MLA technology. While the M3 does not incorporate the Tandem OLED technology found in the newer G5 series, the 83-inch G5 model is currently priced at $5,000.
As with other LG OLED TVs, the M3 is well-suited for console gaming, offering excellent image quality, low input lag, and high refresh rates. It supports modern gaming features essential for current generation consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, including a native 120Hz panel and three HDMI 2.1 inputs located on the Zero Connect Box. The M3 also comes with a 5-year panel warranty, consistent with its premium classification.
This deal makes the 83-inch LG Evo M3 an attractive option for those seeking a large, high-performance OLED television for both gaming and high-fidelity 4K HDR content consumption.
