Best Buy is offering a significant $900 price reduction on the Asus ROG Flow Z13 gaming laptop as part of its 60th Anniversary sale. This deal brings the price down to $2,099.99, including free shipping. The ROG Flow Z13 is a 13.4-inch 2-in-1 convertible that weighs approximately 2.65 pounds, positioning it as a highly portable gaming device that rivals the size of handheld PCs.
This particular configuration features a 13.4-inch 2560x1600 display with a 180Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 CPU paired with an AMD Radeon 8060S integrated GPU. The system includes 64GB of LPDDR5X-8000Mhz RAM and a 1TB SSD. The Radeon 8060S iGPU is noted as the most powerful integrated graphics solution currently available, offering gaming performance comparable to a discrete NVIDIA RTX 4060 mobile GPU and approaching that of an RTX 5060 mobile.
The convertible design allows for a detachable keyboard, enabling the device to function as a tablet. Its chassis is constructed from CNC aluminum alloy with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for screen protection. The high amount of RAM is particularly noteworthy, as it is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be upgraded post-purchase. The substantial discount on this high-spec configuration, especially given current RAM prices, makes this a compelling offer. The device has been reviewed positively for its versatility and performance in its form factor, offering a glimpse into the future of laptop design.
