Walmart is currently offering an MSI Codex Z2C gaming PC equipped with a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti for $999 with free shipping. This deal represents the first time an RTX 5060 Ti prebuilt system has been priced under $1,000 since early summer, according to IGN.
The MSI Codex Z2C gaming PC is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F processor, an 8GB GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The CPU features 8 cores and 16 threads with a maximum boost clock of 5.1GHz, and the system is supplied by a 650W 80Plus Gold certified power supply.
The RTX 5060 Ti is highlighted as a strong GPU for 1080p gaming, reportedly outperforming the RTX 4060 Ti by approximately 20%. This advantage increases in games that support DLSS 4.5. The 8GB VRAM configuration is suitable for most games at 1440p, though more demanding titles may present challenges. For smoother performance at 1440p in graphically intensive games, a GPU with more VRAM, such as an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB or an RTX 5070, is suggested.
