Walmart is currently offering the MSI Vector HX 16-inch gaming laptop equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU for $1,399.00. This price represents an $800 discount from its original price as part of Walmart's Back to School Sale, and includes free shipping. This deal marks the lowest price observed for an RTX 5070 Ti-equipped gaming laptop in 2026.
The MSI Vector HX features a 16-inch IPS display with a 1920x1200 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor, which boasts 20 cores and a maximum turbo frequency of 5.2GHz, making it suitable for both gaming and demanding multitasking. The laptop comes with 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD, both of which are user-upgradeable. It also includes a one-year warranty.
The mobile GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card offers a performance increase of approximately 20% to 30% over the RTX 5070. In comparison to Nvidia's previous generation of mobile GPUs, it provides performance on par with the RTX 4080, and even surpasses it in games that support DLSS 4.5 and multi-frame generation. This GPU is capable of running modern games at the laptop's native FHD+ resolution. For example, benchmarks for Forza Horizon 6 indicate that an RTX 5070 Ti laptop can achieve 60 frames per second at 1080p. The laptop itself weighs around six pounds.
