Newegg is currently offering a component bundle that aims to ease the cost of building a new PC, especially amidst ongoing price increases for memory and other hardware. The package, priced at $781, includes 32GB of DDR5 memory, a CPU, a motherboard, a 1TB SSD, and a CPU cooler.
The bundle features an AMD processor, described as a Zen 5 chip with six cores. While listed at $220 on Newegg, it can be found for $180 on Amazon. The processor is noted as being capable of solid gaming performance.
The 32GB of DDR5 memory from Team Group operates at 6000 MT/s and includes RGB lighting. The included Team Group G50 SSD offers sequential read speeds of up to 5,000 MB/s and write speeds up to 4,800 MB/s, providing 1TB of storage.
The motherboard is a Gigabyte B850M Eagle, a Micro-ATX board that supports AM5 socket processors and includes two M.2 slots, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet.
Rounding out the bundle is a Cooler Master 240mm all-in-one liquid CPU cooler with two 120mm ARGB fans. This cooler is considered adequate for the included AMD chip.
Newegg claims a savings of nearly $300 on the bundle, a figure that does not account for the price of the cooler. When purchased separately outside of this package, the components would cost close to $1,000 without the cooler.
To complete a system, users would still need to acquire a power supply, case, and graphics card. The retailer also has other deals available on their platform.
