Newegg is offering a 512GB TeamGroup MicroSD Express memory card for $94.99 with free shipping, available through Newegg's official AliExpress storefront. This price point is notably lower than direct Newegg pricing and Amazon listings.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will exclusively support MicroSD Express cards, meaning older standard MicroSD cards will not be compatible. These newer cards offer substantially faster performance, with the TeamGroup model boasting read speeds of up to 800MB/s and write speeds of up to 700MB/s.
With several upcoming Switch 2 titles demanding considerable storage, such as Final Fantasy 14 at approximately 117GB and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade at 90GB, expanded storage is becoming a necessity. The Switch 2 features 256GB of internal storage. This 512GB card would triple the console's total storage capacity, while a 256GB card would double it.
