Amazon's October Prime sale is nearing its end, offering deals on several third-party Nintendo Switch 2 controllers. While Nintendo's official Joy-Con and Pro controllers are not included in the promotion, several alternative options are available at reduced prices, with some models dropping below $30. Many of these deals are exclusive to Prime members and conclude today.
Unique editions of controllers are frequently priced lower than their standard counterparts during this sale. Turtle Beach, for instance, has discounted its colorful Mario-themed editions more significantly than its original black wireless controller. For those seeking RGB lighting, PDP's Afterglow controllers are also part of the sale.
PowerA's Advantage controller is another option seeing notable price drops. The Pokemon Mega Evolutions colorway is currently priced almost $10 less than the standard black wireless model.
More premium options, such as the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 controller, are also available. The second-generation edition is on deal, and reviews of the original model praised its grip, which felt comparable to modern Xbox controllers, and noted improved bumpers and analog triggers over previous versions.
The NYXI Hyperion 3 is presented as a close alternative to Nintendo's official Pro controller. This model is designed specifically for the Switch 2 and incorporates features like adjustable vibration and dual back buttons.
Additionally, Kuitmor's Sanrio controller, featuring a Hello Kitty design, has a $10 price reduction. Despite its distinct aesthetic, the controller has garnered positive reviews.
This sale represents a final opportunity for Prime members to secure deals on these accessories before the event concludes. While discounts on the Switch 2 console itself have not been prominent, various games and accessories for the system are part of the ongoing promotion.
