Woot, an Amazon-owned retailer, is offering the official Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller for $67.59 as part of its early Black Friday video game sale. To achieve this price, customers must apply the coupon code "SAVETOBER" at checkout, which provides an additional 20% discount. New customers may receive a higher discount of up to 30%.
Amazon Prime members can take advantage of free shipping on this offer. For non-Prime members, a $5 shipping fee will apply. The controller is an "international" model and comes with a 90-day warranty from Woot, though it is new and expected to function correctly with US-based Nintendo Switch 2 consoles.
Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller Features
The Switch 2 Pro Controller, while not backwards compatible with the original Switch, introduces several enhancements over its predecessor. These upgrades include updated HD Rumble 2 for more refined haptic feedback, a new "C" button intended for the Switch 2's GameChat feature, and new rear mappable GL and GR buttons. Additionally, the controller boasts up to 50% faster charging speeds compared to the original and includes a headphone jack.
This deal represents a significant price reduction ahead of the official Black Friday shopping period, with the current offering potentially being the best available deal for this accessory.
