Amazon is currently offering a Perlegear Full Motion TV Wall Mount capable of supporting televisions up to 90 inches and 132 pounds for $32.89. The discount is applied by using the coupon code "9D8IZVUJ" at checkout. The mount is UL 2442 compliant, meaning it has been tested to support four times its advertised maximum weight capacity for TVs under 100 pounds and twice its maximum capacity plus 200 pounds for TVs over 100 pounds.
Designed for TVs ranging from 42 to 90 inches, the Perlegear mount requires secure installation into wood studs, concrete, brick, or similar robust surfaces, as drywall alone is insufficient. The manufacturer provides straightforward installation instructions, making it a feasible DIY project with basic tools, though lifting the TV onto the mount may present the most challenging aspect.
Once installed, the mount offers significant adjustability. It includes thicker articulating arms and a reinforced wall plate compared to other mounts in its price range. Security locks and anti-drop end caps are incorporated to prevent the TV from accidentally dislodging. The full-motion capability allows for 20 degrees of tilt, 100 degrees of swivel, and an extension of up to 16.6 inches from the wall. When fully retracted, the TV sits approximately 3.3 inches from the wall.
This Perlegear model is available from a vendor with a significant presence on Amazon, backed by numerous customer reviews. The product listing includes a certificate of compliance for its UL 2442 rating. Additionally, a Fanttik D2 Pocket Laser Level is available for $27.98 using the coupon code "EP7ZLY2C", which can aid in achieving a perfectly level installation.
