Best Buy is currently offering a bundle deal for the PlayStation Portal that includes various accessories and a $25 PlayStation Store gift card for $300. This offer is part of Best Buy's Tech Fest sale, which coincides with Amazon Prime Day.
The PlayStation Portal functions as a handheld streaming device, capable of playing games directly from a PS5 console over Wi-Fi or from the cloud via a PS Plus subscription. The bundled package contains the handheld device, the $25 PlayStation Store gift card, a screen protector, wired earphones, additional rubberized thumbsticks, a charging dock, and a hardshell carrying case. The white version of the PlayStation Portal is included in this specific deal.
For those interested in the Midnight Black edition, a separate option is available for $270, which includes the same accessories but omits the $25 PlayStation Store gift card. The PlayStation Portal features an 8-inch LCD screen and controller grips that incorporate haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, mirroring those found on the DualSense controller. Sony's proprietary Link technology is utilized for low latency and lossless audio streaming.
This deal is part of a broader sales period that includes other gaming-related discounts. For instance, the official PS5 Pulse Explore wireless earbuds have been reduced to $99 at Walmart, down from their usual $200 price. Other notable sales include discounts on Nintendo Switch 2 games and accessories, as well as deals on retro gaming hardware and virtual display glasses.
