The Pokémon Trading Card Game's new Delta Reign expansion has seen its Elite Trainer Box drop to a new low price of $119.99 at Walmart. This deal, offered by third-party seller Cataclysm Games, represents a saving of nearly $20 compared to its current price on Amazon, which stands at $139.94 through another third-party seller. The Walmart price also undercuts the TCGplayer estimated market price of $122.17.
Delivery for the Walmart pre-order is currently estimated for November 19, several weeks after the Delta Reign expansion officially releases on November 6. The Elite Trainer Box includes nine booster packs from the Delta Reign expansion, a full-art foil Kyogre promo card, 65 card sleeves, energy cards, dice, and a player's guide. Based on the retail price, each booster pack effectively costs around $14.44, a slight increase over the TCGplayer market price of $14.01 for single packs. However, this price point offers value when considering the included accessories.
The Delta Reign expansion itself introduces over 135 cards to the Pokémon TCG, notably featuring Mega Rayquaza ex. The set also adds other Mega Evolutions such as Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex, and Mega Golisopod ex, alongside more than 35 Pokémon and Trainer cards with special illustrations.
