Woot!, an Amazon-owned retailer, is currently offering a substantial discount on PowerBlock's adjustable dumbbell sets. The PowerBlock EXP Stage 1, which adjusts from 5 to 50 pounds per dumbbell, is available for $249.99, marking a $150 saving compared to similar offerings from Bowflex. This deal also extends to expansion kits for users seeking greater weight capacity.
The Stage 2 expansion kit, increasing the maximum weight to 70 pounds, and the Stage 3 kit, reaching up to 90 pounds, are both priced at $119.99 each. These expansion kits allow users to upgrade their existing PowerBlock set without needing to purchase an entirely new dumbbell system. Amazon Prime members will receive free shipping on their orders, while non-Prime members will incur a flat shipping rate of $6, a reasonable fee considering the package's substantial weight.
Each dumbbell in the PowerBlock EXP Stage 1 set allows for weight adjustments in 2.5 to 5-pound increments via a dial. The design keeps plates contained, offering a space-saving alternative to traditional dumbbell racks. The dumbbells themselves are constructed with durable metal components for the plates and frame, while rubber-coated handles ensure a secure grip. PowerBlock provides a five-year warranty for these adjustable dumbbells, underscoring their build quality.
Adjustable free weights are highlighted as an effective home workout solution for individuals with limited space, capable of targeting numerous upper and lower body muscle groups. The article suggests supplementing dumbbell exercises with cardio and bodyweight routines for a comprehensive fitness regimen.
